Genre: Punk Rock
Social Distortion is considered a classic band. For some, though, there is little to crow about. Those people are mistaken. Social Distortion has always been a band worth listening to, even on its weaker releases. This one isn't weak. This is simply the best of the social distortion albums. After a 4 or 5 year recovery period SD's music just didn't have the same edge to it as it did in this album. They bring american 1980's disillusionment to life with driving rhythm and guitar and cutting lyrics like those in Anti-Fashion and All the Answers. If you must buy one SD album - get this one. Had Ness stayed away from the needle after this album's release, they could have easily been one of the most influential bands of the 80's.
